Dynax 7 D มีจุดเด่นที่น่าสนใจมากนั่นคือระบบป้องกันภาพสั่นไหวจากการถือกล้องถ่ายภาพด้วยความเร็วชัตเตอร์ต่ำ เรียกว่าระบบ Anti Shake โดยออกแบบให้ชุดเซ็นเซอร์ภาพ CCD เคลื่อนตำแหน่งตามทิศทางการสั่นไหวได้ ส่งผลให้ได้ภาพที่คมชัด
ซึ่งหมายถึงว่า เลนส์ทุกตัวของ Minolta และเลนส์เมาท์ Minolta AF จากผู้ผลิตอิสระอื่นๆ เมื่อนำมาใช้จะมีระบบป้องกันภาพสั่นไหวทั้งหมด ทำให้สามารถใช้สปีดชัตเตอร์ต่ำกว่าปกติได้ 2 ถึง 3 สตอป ซึ่งมีเลนส์ให้เลือกใช้มากมาย ปัจจุบันผู้ผลิตเลนส์รายใหญ่อย่าง SIGMA หรือ TAMRON ก็มีเลนส์สำหรับกล้องดิจิตอล SLR ออกมาให้เลือกใช้หลายรุ่น
